I graduated from Dominican University (River Forest, IL) in 1997 with a B.A. in Communication Design and Fine Art. Since then I have maintained a studio arts practice.
Along with gallery representation, I've also displayed my work separately in group shows and museums in Midwest, as well as Florence, Italy.
My studio arts time also includes 15 years as a Product Desgin Consultant in the Contract Furniture Industry from 2009-2024. Many of the products I've designed are used in public and corporate spaces throughout the world; including the Sydney Opera House, Coca Cola Headquarters, Texas Instruments Headquarters and many others.
Please be sure to check out my Instagram page on the "Social" link below, as I share the latest creations, news, and available works.
My primary interests are in capturing the landscape, nature, and in particular trees of Northern Illinois, as well as places I travel to. Occassionally my subject matter also includes architecture and cityscapes.
My work process is not limited to but includes working on location, from memory, imagination, photo reference or some combination of these in my studio.
I mostly prefer to work in Acrylic Paint, Pen, India Ink, Watercolor, and Pencil using archival canvas, panels, and paper.
